Front View, Operation, and Trapping Method
“Business end” of the trap.
This is my "pole mounted test trap." Mounted on a piece of thin plywood atop a bird feeder pole. I wanted to test the trap effectiveness in this type of mount for those who have four legged creatures causing problems in their trapping. Five starlings and 15 sparrows this week indicate it does not adversely effect avian results. In practice against squirrels, for example, the pole would be baffled and it would not be as close to the adjacent tree.
